South Carolina's Technology Future: Where Candidates and Industry Leaders Agree
Purpose
The South Carolina Emerging Tech Association (SCETA) conducted this survey to better understand how emerging technology issues are being viewed by individuals actively engaged in shaping South Carolina's future. The objective was not to endorse candidates or create a scorecard, but to identify policy themes, areas of agreement, and opportunities for constructive dialogue.

Why This Matters
Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital identity, digital assets, advanced computing, and energy infrastructure are becoming increasingly interconnected. The policies adopted today will influence economic competitiveness, workforce readiness, infrastructure investment, technology innovation, individual rights, and public trust.
